Laura & Matt’s wedding was amazing. I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to post a blog about it! Laura & Matt live in Australia and were lucky enough to gather all of their friends and family together for one special day back in July 2018. Wethele Manor, surrounded by the stunning Warwickshire countryside, is well suited for an outdoor ceremony. This was such a pleasure to photograph and I’m thrilled to share their highlights with you. Lot’s of beautiful moments & memories captured!

Autumn family photo session – Wiltshire

Wiltshire Family Photography

I met up with the Earley family in mid Autumn at a beautiful location in Longleat forest, Wiltshire. Ethan was born at the beginning of lockdown so they were really keen to have a photo session as a family for the first time. Ethan had just turned 6 months and we were heading for another lockdown. Luckily, we managed to fit in some time for these autumnal photos! He was an absolute star and full of smiles!

Spring family photo session – Longleat forest, Wiltshire

I had so much fun at this photo session with the awesome Lateo family. This session is actually from last year and for some unknown reason I didn’t get round to blogging it! I’m starting to get excited for Spring so thought this was worth sharing with everyone. We used an all time favourite location of mine within Longleat forest, Wiltshire. I was amazed at the colourful display amongst the landscape – another great reason to have family photographs at this time of year! One of my favourite photo sessions from earlier this year was with the Clarke family. We headed to the ever popular spot of Heaven’s gate within Longleat Forest to capture some truly natural photos. It was a muddy wellies kind of day and when the sun came out towards the end it created one of my favourite ever photos! I love outdoor photo sessions like this 🙂

Summer Family Photo Session – The Forster Family

It was great hanging out with the Forster family during their photo session at the beginning of this summer. We chose one of my favourite spots to photograph in longleat forest.

I often meet families who tell me they’re not keen on having their photo taken or that their toddler may not cooperate. My approach to every photo session is always the same, go with the flow! The kids were happy running around and playing and this was such a fun session to shoot. They were so natural in front of the camera and I think it really shows (even if they didn’t realise at the time!). I wanted to share some of my favourites…

New website launched

I’m excited to launch my new website showcasing the best of my family photography. This new direction for Greg Shingler photography combines two of my favourite things, family & the outdoors! I’ll be using favourite locations of mine within Longleat forest as well as offering sessions across Wiltshire, Somerset, Bath and the south west.
