Sophie & Andy’s Summer wedding was held at the beautiful Parley Manor in Dorset. It was such a fun day to capture with lots of fantastic energy! They made a memorable ceremony exit by dancing down the aisle before stepping into a bubble-filled walk that led them to their garden drinks reception. This was the summer that just kept on giving us the most amazing golden hours! We took advantage of the light and wondered amongst the surrounding fields for some glowing late afternoon bride and groom portraits.

Tipi Wedding at Noah’s Pond in Somerset

A festival themed tipi wedding in the heart of Somerset – at Noah’s Pond by Curated Canvas

Emily and Ashley celebrated their wedding at Noah’s Pond with a beautifully relaxed tipi and woodland-themed day in the heart of Somerset. Their ceremony took place outdoors in the venue’s woodland clearing, where they exchanged vows beneath the trees surrounded by their family and closest friends. After the ceremony, they were showered in confetti before guests enjoyed a cocktail drinks reception in the meadow, taking in the sweeping countryside views.

It was such a joy to photograph Emily and Ashley throughout the day – they were completely relaxed and so much fun to be around, which made capturing their portraits feel effortless and natural. Even Thatcher (their dog) was a dream to work with (I’m really hoping he’s named after the famous Somerset cider!).

Tucked away in the Somerset countryside, Noah’s Pond is one of those wedding venues that feels effortlessly relaxed and full of character. 2025 – A year in review

2025… What an INCREDIBLE year!

2025, you have been amazing! As ever, I feel so lucky to call this my job. I want to thank everyone who has trusted me in capturing their special day. Every single wedding has been so memorable-there have been champagne sprays, tractor rides, epic dance floors, woodland weddings, sunsets on the beach, singing waiters, a Jane Austen parade, dog ring bearer’s to name but a few. And to top it all off, 2025 gave us a Summer that just kept on delivering incredible weather! I’ve been fortunate to witness 33 couples saying ‘I do’, and it has been a bloody pleasure! I cannot wait to do it all over again, bring on 2026!

A beautifully relaxed summer wedding at The Kingscote Barn in the heart of of the Cotswolds

Kelly & Jake celebrated their summer wedding at the wonderful Kingscote Barn in Gloucestershire. It was the perfect day for an outdoor ceremony and their beautifully-styled space looked absolutely spectacular! Their vibrant colour theme was brought to life by the very talented Jenessa Hawks. Everyone enjoyed drinks on the terrace overlooking the valley, along with games on the lawn, before heading into the main barn for an evening reception of fantastic food, hilarious speeches and a dance floor that stayed full all night thanks to The Flintlocks playing indie bangers—perfect!

I first met Kelly & Jake at a wedding fair the year before, where we chatted about their vision for a relaxed celebration with all their favourite people together, without photography taking centre stage. This aligned perfectly with my natural, candid approach to documenting a wedding, and aside from a brief moment to create a few beautiful bride and groom portraits, I loved capturing the genuine moments throughout their day!

A Beautiful Bowerchalke Barn Wedding in the heart of Wiltshire

Hannah & Matt’s wedding ceremony was held at the beautiful St Mary’s Church in the nearby village of Alderbury. This was then followed by a brief tea & cake reception – brilliant idea! We then headed to the fantastic Bowerchalke Barn in Wiltshire for further celebrations! Hannah & Matt created a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and it was a pleasure to photograph this very special day for them. Bowerchalke was a simply stunning setting, just check out the amazing thatched barn and its interiors!

Bowerchalke Barn is a traditional 16^th-century thatched threshing barn beaming with rustic charm. Set amongst a backdrop of rolling hills and beautiful countryside views within Wiltshire’s stunning Chalke Valley. Daisie & Warren’s Wedding at The Gathering Barn Wiltshire

A stunning Wiltshire wedding at The Gathering Barn

We battled the strong winds of storm Kathleen (see above photo!) but this did not stand in our way one little bit and Daisie & Warren celebrated in style! I’ve been fortunate to photograph D & W a few times now, firstly at Daisie’s sister’s wedding back in 2021 and then again for their engagement photo session. They were married at The Minster Church of St Deny’s in Warminster with their reception held at the wonderful Gathering Barn in nearby Monkton Deverill. This was such a fun day to capture and I’m thrilled to finally share this blog of their highlights (which only took me one whole year to get round to doing!).

About the Gathering Barn…

The Gathering Barn is a real hidden gem. Located on the edge of Monkton Deverill village, this beautifully restored Wiltshire barn wedding venue is situated in the heart of the countryside with spectacular views over the South Wiltshire Downs. As barns go, this venue is full of rustic charm and offers exclusive hire, enabling your celebrations to last all weekend! I’ve photographed many weddings here and it’s one of my all-time favourites!

A beautiful spring wedding at Priston Mill in Bath, Somerset

Holly & Bert celebrated their wedding at the fabulous Priston Mill Near Bath, Somerset. It was a beautiful sunny day in early May and The Watermill gardens were looking as impressive as ever with the wisteria in full bloom. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Holly & Bert were married in an intimate ceremony held inside the Watermill followed by a drinks reception in the beautiful gardens. H & B were a joy to photograph! They created an effortlessly relaxed atmosphere for the day and it was a pleasure to document all of their special moments!

2024… You have been AMAZING!

What an incredible year of weddings! As ever, I feel so lucky to call this my job! I want to thank everyone who has trusted me to capture their special day. Every single wedding has been so memorable and it’s a pleasure to capture all of the wonderful memories. This year has been my biggest yet, photographing over 30 weddings and visiting lots of new fantastic venues. I cannot wait to do it all over again, bring on 2025!

Coombe Lodge Wedding Photography

Katy & Rich’s Somerset Wedding | Coombe Lodge at Blagdon

Photographing Katy & Rich’s wedding was incredible! I first met them when Rich had planned a surprise proposal at a very special location, Stourhead in Wiltshire. Thankfully Katy said yes and I was on hand to document the occasion! Fast forward 18 months later and I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding at the wonderful Coombe Lodge at Blagdon, in Somerset.

Located on the edge of the Mendip Hills in north Somerset near to Bristol & Bath, you’ll find the picturesque village of Blagdon. With it’s stunning views across Somerset, Coombe Lodge was the perfect setting for Katy & Rich’s wedding day. They opted for an indoor ceremony in the beautiful Music Room followed by a cocktail reception and lawn games in the garden. This wedding had it all; A beaming bride & groom, beautiful and emotional ceremony, wedding party tug-of-war, live music, champagne spray and a killer sunset!
