MY APPROACH TO PHOTOGRAPHING YOUR WEDDING…
My aim is to document your day in a very natural and candid style. You’ll find I blend into the crowd to capture all of the excitement and emotion that unfolds throughout your day. I want to celebrate the individuality of your wedding & take you back to the moments, so you can relive them!
Whilst on your search for a wedding photographer you may hear descriptions such as ‘documentary’ or ‘contemporary’, I like to think I sit somewhere in the middle of these. Whilst my main approach is to document every little detail and moment in front of me, I also aim to direct where necessary. To me, family formal photographs are incredibly important, but should not turn your wedding day into a photoshoot. From years of experience, I’ve managed to keep this quite an efficient process – allowing you to spend more time with your guests. My favourite part of a wedding is in the late afternoon / early evening when the light is at it’s most epic! I often use this opportunity to grab a moment with the wedding couple to photograph beautiful and natural portraits.

THE PROCESS…
1. Getting in touch
So you’ve gotten in touch, that’s the first step! Hopefully this guide will allow you to explore more about what I offer as a photographer. Take your time, read through & explore the galleries below.
2. Let’s meet!
The next stage would be for us to arrange a face to face meeting, either over video chat or in person. This will give me the opportunity to find out more about the two of you and your amazing wedding plans! (and you might want to check that I’m a real person!). This meeting also allows you the chance to ask any questions you might have – no matter how small. We can also discuss which photography option might best suit you and your wedding day. This is by no means a sales pitch! All of my pricing and options are listed here on my website for you to look over first.
3. Take your time
After the meeting, take your time to discuss your wedding photography options. Make sure you’re confident with your choices and that I offer what you’re looking for. I’ll gladly hold your wedding date for 5 days. If you think I’m the perfect match for your day – brilliant! Let’s make a booking.
4. Booking
Once you’re happy to proceed with a booking, I’ll arrange two things; An agreement for us both to sign (e-contract) & an invoice for a deposit of £200. Once these have been received I’ll secure your wedding date in my diary!
5. Planning ahead
Done! Another thing to tick off the list. We’ll keep in touch throughout the run up to your wedding over email / phone. You can contact me at any time with any updates you may have. If you’re planning an engagement photo session – we’ll look to arrange this at a suitable time for you both too. Other than that, I’ll be in touch approximately 6 weeks before you’re wedding to gather all of the remaining information required. The more I know, the better organised I can be to ensure your day runs smoothly and all moments are captured.

Pre-wedding meeting
This will give us a great opportunity to get to know each other and chat about your day. Meetings can be face to face or via video call.
Digital photos with full printing rights
All of my photography options include your photos as beautifully edited, high resolution digital copies! Print them, share them, frame them, put them on your walls!
Online gallery
Your very own secure online gallery that you can share with all of your wonderful wedding guests.
USB
As well as a digital delivery of your photos you’ll receive a USB hard copy (Displayed in a beautifully crafted and personalised presentation box with a selection of prints).
Travel
All travel expenses covered within Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset & Gloucestershire. (For any locations further afield, a small travel fee and/or overnight accommodation may be required)

It’s amazing that we can instantly view a photo or a gallery on a device. It’s been a game changer for the world of wedding photography and allowed couples to share memories with everyone. For something extra special, you can’t beat sitting down and enjoying your wedding photos in a printed album. In my opinion, it makes it quite special!
The albums that I offer are of the highest quality and are created for longevity. The pages are lay-flat to ensure there is no creasing & allowing a full spread of printing. The finish on the printing is sleek & contemporary (no traditional prints & mounts here!). The cover has a hessian finish with personalised engraving.

FAQs
I’m based in Wiltshire & yes I travel for weddings! I’ve photographed weddings all across the UK. I’ve even travelled abroad for weddings! A small travel fee or overnight accommodation may be required for weddings outside of Wiltshire, Somerset & Dorset. Usually, I’ll start about 2 hours before the ceremony, or departure to the ceremony venue and stay until a little after your first dance. I do not set out exactly how many hours I’ll be there for as every wedding is different and timings can change on the day – I’ll work with your schedule. For the part day photography option however, this is set to 4 hours with the option to add on additional hours if required. Yes I do! Please get in touch for a bespoke quote. You have permission to print and share your wedding photos for personal use. The photographic rights always remain with the photographer. The use of the photos by myself can be discussed in more detail, client discretion is always honoured. Yes! You will receive your wedding photo edits in colour AND black & white. Yes, absolutely. For me, this is quite important and we can work out a ‘shot list’ prior to your day. I have a recommended ‘shot list’ that I can share with you and tailor to your requirements. I always aim to keep the group formals to a minimum so you can be IN your wedding celebrations as much as possible. I will always arrive at the venue in good time to familiarise myself and make contact with your wedding coordinator / whoever is in charge. It is not an issue if I haven’t worked at a particular venue before, It’s often refreshing to approach with fresh eyes! I will always be aiming to take advantage of the best natural light in each environment. But of course, if there are particular elements of your chosen venue that you love and are keen for me to include then this can be discussed during our catch-up meetings. Yes! Beautifully crafted and printed with a lay-flat page design, available in 2 sizes. See above section for full album details. Yes, of course! Public liability & professional indemnity. I photograph around 30 weddings each year. The remainder of my time is shared across a few different platforms of photography. I can hold your deposit for your new wedding date. If I am already booked for your new date, I can offer one my trusted associates services on my behalf. During most of my weddings there will be 2 photographers, this offers an instant ‘back-up’. If I am unable to attend and know about this in advance, I will contact my top 3 trusted wedding photographer associates who I regularly work with (and know my style) to see if they are available. I am also fortunate to belong to multiple networks of wedding photographers that will hopefully be able to offer their service on my behalf. If in the unlikely event that this can’t happen you will be fully refunded. I must point out that I have never been unable to attend a wedding due to illness, it would have to be something severe to stop me! The safety of my clients, and their guests will always be a top priority. Yes please! I always encourage a meeting so we can get to know each other and discuss your wedding plans. There is no obligation to book. A video call is the best way to do this. See the enquiry process in the above section. I’ll draw up a contract for us both to sign (all done digitally). Then I’ll invoice you for the deposit payment to be made via bank transfer. £200 Up to 6 weeks from the date of your wedding. It can take up to 8 weeks for your wedding album. For most weddings, there is a secondary photographer. This enables us to document preparations during the morning at multiple venues, and also allows one photographer to arrive at the ceremony earlier in order to document your guests arrival. Having a second photographer enables us to capture a more candid approach to your wedding day, especially during a drinks reception or speeches for example. This can be particularly useful if one photographer is allocated to formal group photos for a length of time. If you’re not planning to include photography during the morning preparations, or your wedding is at a single venue, it might be that 2 photographers is not for you? Small-scale weddings – Ask for a quote
If you’re planning a more intimate wedding on a smaller scale, and would like photography coverage to suit – I can help you! Get in touch for a bespoke quote.
Pre-wedding / Engagement photo session – £200
A relaxed, fun and not at all cheesy photo session of you and your partner. A great opportunity to feel more comfortable in front of the camera in preparation for your wedding day! Sessions usually take place at an outdoor location and will include all of your photos as digital copies with an online gallery.
Additional hourly coverage – from £125
For the part day wedding photography option, additional hours coverage can be added to suit your requirements. Price per hour is £125.
Wedding Albums
Additional wedding albums and upgrade options are available (see above). Prices start from £400 and examples can be viewed at our initial meeting.
