Jo & Chris’ Winter Wedding at Clevedon Hall, Somerset

At the beginning of 2024 I had the pleasure of photographing Jo & Chris’s beautiful Winter wedding at Clevedon Hall in Somerset. These two set the bar pretty high, it really was a fantastic start to the year! When it came to adding personal flair, Chris & Jo certainly knew how to make their special day stand out. I particularly enjoyed capturing their first look, moments before walking down the aisle together to say their ‘I do’s’.

As a Somerset wedding photographer I’ve been fortunate to photograph at this stunning venue a number of times and it never disappoints; Clevedon Hall is a hidden gem. The interior décor is spectacular and offers endless photo opportunities (not to mention the stunning grounds with its beautiful gardens, lake and very own deer!). Utilising some of these unique spaces into their couple portraits was something that Jo & Chris were keen to do. Their ceremony was held in the bright and sunny Orangery followed by drinks reception in the Great Hall. The conservatory that linked these two spaces together, with its impressive botanical display offered the perfect setting for their formal photos.

It was such a pleasure for me to photograph Jo & Chris’s wedding and celebrations, I couldn’t have asked for two nicer people to work with! Enjoy just a selection of highlights from their day…

Tash & Mark’s Winter Wedding at Elmhay Park in Somerset

Tash & Mark were married at St John’s Church in Frome followed by their wedding celebrations at the amazing Elmhay Park in Somerset. Elmhay is one of two stunning venues on the Orchardleigh estate nestled in the Somerset countryside. This was my first wedding of 2022 and it was such a joy to photograph! I loved getting to know Tash & Mark throughout the build up to their wedding day and their elegant Winter wedding certainly was one to remember. During the evening we were entertained by an amazing singing chef who had the entire room on their feet, concluding with dancing and a conga line! From then on, the party was well under way!

As a Somerset wedding photographer I’ve been fortunate to photograph at Elmhay Park & Orchardleigh House many times before. On this occasion I was thrilled that Tash & Mark wanted to take a short drive to Orchardleigh Castle for their couple photos. See their wonderful highlights below!

Tash & Lewis’ Summer wedding ceremony was held at the picturesque Wick Farm. They were the most relaxed couple and a joy to photograph! It was a scorcher of a day and we spent most of the day outdoors amongst the grounds of this superb venue.

Wick Farm sits just on the outskirts of Bath in a beautiful rural setting. The rustic barns offer the perfect place to hold your celebrations with the option to hold an outdoor ceremony in the Summer months. Catering comes courtesy of the fabulous on site Strawberry Fields Catering.

About Court Farm…

On the edge of the Somerset border, situated just 11 miles from the beautiful Georgian city of Bath, Court Farm is the perfect setting for your rustic barn wedding! Court Farm offers multiple barns for your wedding reception and also has on site accommodation for up to 14 guests. It’s the perfect blank canvas for a relaxed rustic barn wedding. The extensive grounds offer many beautiful photo opportunities amongst the Somerset countryside. During the Summer months, the sun sets just perfectly behind the rustic barn giving you the perfect backdrop for evening couple photos! As a Warminster based wedding photographer, Court Farm is located 10 minutes down the road from me. It’s a particular favourite wedding venue of mine (and not just for the locality!).

2022 A year in review

WOW! What a year that was!

I’ve had an amazing year of weddings and I feel so incredibly lucky to be doing this job! Somehow, it managed to slip my mind that I’ve been doing this for 10 years!! A HUGE thank you to all of my lovely couples who trusted me to capture their special day, I can honestly say that I loved every single one!
